There were, apparently. People have lost common sense. They also like to complain a lot. I don't know why people get so twitter-pated over a device. It's not meant to make you self-fulfilled. Nor is it going to be perfect. I swear, folks drive me nuts. I had to tell a couple Samsung fanboys that when it comes down to it, iPhones and Samsungs are phones. That's all. As long as they make and receive calls, their basic job is done. All the other stuff is flavor.
As far as the numbnuts who purposely bend their phones, they deserve to have a bent phone. The phone is not indestructible. Even stainless steel can bend. Gah! Thankfully, I am not in charge of Apple, or even the world. If you're so stupid that you purposely bend your phone, then really, you just need to hold your hand out for your own special Darwin award. One would think common sense would tell people to put their phone in a case so that it won't get damaged. Apparently, everything must be spelled out in exact detail so that we all can follow along.

I bet there will be people who cooked their new phones howling at Apple to replace them for free, because the company didn't specifically warn them; "NOTICE! DO NOT MICROWAVE PHONE FOR ANY REASON!" Bring on the lawyers.I wonder if Android, Microsoft, etc. have occasional problems with major updates, overwhelmed servers, etc.? Maybe not. They certainly don't make the news. Perhaps we are all so used to just having Apple products work, that we get wild when there is a hiccup. I imagine that to most users (Non techies) iPhones might as well be magic. And we expect magic to work without a hitch. As far as the bending goes, I've read that out of the millions in users hands only a handful have complained. If you actually go out of your way to TRY to bend your phone you get what you deserve -- a curved phone. I guess if one feels he/she MUST keep it in their pocket all day, don't buy a Plus or put it in a case. We may have just run up against the wall of the possible. A phone that is extra large, extra light but still affordable must sacrifice a little rigidity. As another member commented earlier, if the phone used stainless steel or titanium instead of aluminum it would be more rigid, but so expensive only the rich could afford one.So far our members seem happy with their new iPhones. I hope that trend keeps up.Cathy
