Right. Side pocket of leisure/semi-dress slacks. Plenty of room. If I ever again have to wear a suit, with smaller and tighter side pockets, the Plus may have to move to the coat. I hate suits, though, so that may never happen :o)

The 6+ fits comfortably in a side pocket. But if you can't sit down without destroying it, Apple have a potential PR nightmare on their hands. Then, immediately after this, the buggy iOS 8, followed by the patch fiasco. And, I suspect, soon to hit the fan, the non-selling Watch.I wonder whether the Apple board aren't beginning to feel just a tad panicky. Before Steve Jobs II, they felt panicky a lot.I'm sure it's not a fake problem, but I'm not concerned about it. SquareTrade tests suggest that these are the most durable iPhones yet, but they weren't trying to bend them. Based on what I've seen so far, the amount of force required is significant. I'm all for people that want to bend expensive phones in the name of science, so an exact measurement of force can be determined. I've yet to see that. LOLI could understand the iPhone 6 fitting uncomfortably in my front pockets, but the iPhone 6 Plus would be ridiculous.Verizon moved up my renewal date, so I'll be ordering an iPhone 6 Plus before the end of the month.
TedSent from my iPad AirI watched the videos at Engadget, they do not seem fake. I will see how it plays out, but it is a concern. I see my 5S as solid, I dont put it in pant pockets, but if the 6Plus bend is a real issue, it has to be seen a a fragile device, and I would not buy if that was the case. Off course we dont reallty know what force is required. From: "Elaine Pollard elainepollard@gmail.com [iPad]" <iPad@yahoogroups.com>

Ha! I bet it chops, dices, slices and juliennes, lol. Too bad it's not at the low, low price of $19.95.ElaineOn Wed, Sep 24, 2014 at 1:51 PM, Just Murray krismurray@gmail.com [iPad] <iPad@yahoogroups.com> wrote:It bends but DOES IT BLEND?? It strikes me as very uncomfortable. I wonder if the person was trying to see if it would bend. I can't imagine sitting for twelve hours on anything but who knows but then I can't imagine sitting for 12 hours without my body protesting which is why I dread long plane trips..

I thought that, too. I also wondered if the ones that are in a case are bending. I occasionally stick my phone in my back pocket, but I don't sit down with it there. That just seems to be asking for trouble.

Today, I saw something online about the iPhone 6 bending in someone's pocket because it is so thin. It strikes me that keeping something that expensive in your trouser pocket is just plain stupid but I spent less than a tenth of the price on my second hand Nokia. I keep it in a leather pouch tightly attached to the strap of my messenger bag. I found I needed to keep it within a reasonable distance of my ears, so as to hear it ring! :D
