Our public library has this service free in the library -- you can work on
Macs for 2 hours using lynda.com and I have used it to learn several
programs.

I just started an iOS8 tutorial on www.lynda.com that has already provided
some useful tips I did not know about. The service is $25 per month which
you can cancel & reactivate as you like. I have no personal interest in the
company, but have learned a lot using their service over the years.
