Re: [iPad] Re: Facebook on iPad

Messenger was added about 5 years ago if I remember correctly at least 3....

That said. On the iPhone it seems to work the same and unchanged from when they made messenger necessary.

The Facebook app needs to be overhauled.  Since they added the new Facebook messenger, the messenger button needs to be moved further away f rom the. Notifications button. Before it wasn't a problem , but now if you accidentally hit it, instead of showing a drop down menus of conversations, it takes time to open the messenger app, the you have to close it to get back to Facebook .   A pain in the butt!

I'm not having the same issue using the Facebook app on an iPad Air. I've only seen that problem using Facebook on Safari.

I'll assume that you have the latest version of the FB app, but you might try reinstalling it.

Seriously, Ted? I am using the FB app.
I'm not sure whose issue it is -- FB or Apple -- but the keyboard covers the writing area in my iPad Air only, so I can't see as I type.

Just one more reason to use the Facebook app.

It isn't a problem when I initiate a post, but when I respond to a post, the comment line is at the bottom of the screen and the keyboard covers it up. So I am typing blind. Then when I cancel the keyboard I can see what I typed, but if I try to correct a mistake, the keyboard again covers,it up so I can't see, what I am doing.
