I just came from an ATT store, where I spent enough time with both 6 and 6+ to know that I'll almost certainly get the Plus. The Six is OK, but it's basically the same as my five, just a bit larger. The keyboard is still tiny and the screen is still a large postage stamp. The Plus is a phablet, and I imagine with it in my pocket I'll not be carrying the iPad around so much. Totally new way of thinking about these little machines. Looking forward to experimenting, learning, and adapting. New world.
The iPad Mini never made sense to me - not fish and not fowl - but the 6+ does make sense. These little money leeches really are not telephones so much as pocket computers. The Mini would not fit in a pocket, but the Plus will, comfortably. Whether it works well enough as a reader, time will have to tell.
