Hi Ted:
I deleted the FB app then went to the App Store and redox loaded it. Same issue. The typing line is on the very,bottom, under the keyboard. And I have tried pushing it up. Doesn't work.
Do I need to see the Apple geniuses? Did I have a problem with iOS 8 that needs fixing?

I'll assume that you have the latest version of the FB app, but you might try reinstalling it.
