Yes, like every other iPad it carries so many new factors that they are all completely new models. The iPad 1 evolved to the 5 with updated internals as is always the case. The Mini is a different model. Again, whatever, any non favourable comment about Apple always gets the same age old response. Less fanboyism please

It *IS* a new model.
CPU is twice the speed of the previous model.
GPU is twice the speed of the previous model.
It has a 64-bit processor.
It's significantly thinner and lighter.
I think they may have improved the camera.
