Again I think that somehow it depends on the book itself. I will read
to a certain point on the kindle app on my iPad and then do the sync
thing. Then when I open the book on my Kindle paperwhite or my Kindle
keyboard and open the same book and do the sync thing, I frequently get
the "already at the furthest page read" even though I know I'm not.
I can see no rhyme or reason because it works fine on some books and not
fine on others.
