I'll get flamed for this but maybe if minimum wage wasn't ten bux an hour the store could afford more baggers. As it stands they can offers only so many and must deal with longer lines because f fewer baggers and install more self checkout. No. I have no idea on how to correlate or adjust this to what it takes to eat. But it makes total sense from the stores point of view. From the inexperienced workers point of view, it blows. From the stores POV it blows. Now. Knowing corporate America if baggers could be paid 1/2 as much they wouldn't hire twice as many, they'd raise prices and keep the change. Sigh.
