Yes, most people are honest, but I strongly resent having to pay extra to cover for those who are not honest. … just as most people have good work ethic too, but again I strongly resent having to pay extra to cover those who don't.

At the Apple Store, there is the Apple Store app. This allows the customer to purchase their items as long as they are under $100 and have no serial number.
When a customer uses this application, it latches onto our store Wi-Fi and it lets the customer scan the item they want to purchase, then the customer enters iTunes password and the CV code of the credit card tied to it. Pro; the customer gets what they want quickly and they can be on their way. Con; it does call into question the matter of anti-theft.
So far, it does not seem to be that much of a problem. It seems that most people are basically honest.

By the time you get to the check-out, everything IS bagged, and only needs
to be paid for.
