RE: [iPad] Walmart testing a new in store Scan & Go system exclusively for

Christopher,  that’s the point.  With the new WalMart iPhone checkout system,  the products are apparently NOT weighed at checkout.  One simply transfers the total tally on the iPhone to a device at checkout for payment.  If weighing is part of the program,  which wasn’t specified,  then yes I would agree that that should work,  although how already bagged multiple items would be weighed is a good question.

As the purchases are calculated and weighed at the checkout, then yes, I should think it will work.

You carry bags in your cart.
Grab item. Scan item. Bag item.

By the time you get to the check-out, everything IS bagged, and only needs
to be paid for.
