Re: [iPad] Renaming image files

The main ca,era roll is an index of all your photos. Sometimes I forget what album. That's why it's there. I personally need and want an "all my photos" roll which is the main one. I also need and want separate rolls for events or things. I would not know how to. Yea. I dunno. Personally. I get it.

Ignore the main ca,era roll. It's not a camera roll. Think of it as "all my photos on my, iPad" like how in the Mac you have "all my files" as item in the sidebar. Yea. It's that but for photos.

IMHO. Ymmv.

Yet the main camera roll will have all the photos listed too.  Would be really nice if, when a folder is made and a photo is placed in the folder, it doesn't show in the photo in the main camera roll.

You can however create folders in the native app. Err. Albums. That's not renaming them but at least an organizational tool to consider.

As far as I know, you can not rename photos in the camera roll without a third party app.  I found Photo-Sort can rename photos and more http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photo-sort/id349041242?mt=8

Can you rename image files in camera roll? (oh no I asked an actual iPad question, breaking my streak).
