Deleting from an album gives you "Remove from Album". I'd suggest that you stop trying to delete the picture from "All Imported" or "Last Imported".

I can handle duplicates which I consider back up files and delete the dupes info not want. What I do not like about the iPad photo handling is that after you import photos via CCK, if you delete one, it is deleted everywhere even if you have organized them into albums.
