Re: [iPad] Maps

I'm not sure why the past had been brought up when talking about the Maps app.  I saw that while SJ was alive he was constantly learning from his past mistakes.  Now that he's gone, it's TC's turn to learn from his mistakes although he shouldn't be making such big mistakes like the Maps app. Since the new Maps app has come out, I get the feeling TC isn't putting his hands in everything like SJ did.

Sorry, I was talking only about Maps, I said nothing about past history!
But I do believe that Jobs had learn from the past! IMHO!!!

An old saying, the past make the present and the present make the future.

So you're saying jobs would never have allowed the mobile me launch to flop? Lol. He had some missteps. The cube. MobileMe. To name a couple.

Sorry, you misunderstood me,  my meaning was that Job would not let them put out the map app like they did. I said nothing about Google! So I not feel that my opinion is baseless.

Please don't put words in my mouth, OK?

To me Apple has always meant forward to me, but I feel like I'm using one of my old Palms!!!

I don't think this would have happen if Steve was still with us! IMHO

Like a lot of other people, you have good reason to complain.  Apple bought Tom-Tom so their maps should have been better.

I am probably not giving Apple enough time, but I really do want Google Maps back.  The difference is noteworthy, and not in a favorable way toward Apple.

So here is what the google maps looks like, thanks for the URL. I'll send the same place in the new one in the next email (satellite images obviously taken at different times of year, but difference is remarkable).
