Re: [iPad] Maps

I have yet to have an issue with the turn-by-turn using the iPad 3 and the LG Tone bluetooth headset. Hitting the left button on the headset gets Siri talking to me. I even made a wrong turn and the turn by turn acted like I didn't do anything wrong... just came up with new directions on the fly without having to say "recalculating". LOL

I know iPhone users have had Siri for almost a year but its like a new toy for me. Really cool.

Tried the Map app through Siri yesterday.  Was out at the grocery store and said "Take me home" and Siri gave me turn-by-turn direction home.  I had no problem with it in that instance.

YouTube.com will display videos that are not viewable on the iOS

The maps is another situation. Having a great integrated map app is
key. With the built in map app, I can tell Siri "Take me home" and the
map app will launch with direction home. I have to click the start
button to start the spoken navigation. This should be automatic
instead of a manual step. The integrated map can be used with Siri,
launched from other app, so it helps if the integrated map app is
good or designed to do the things that people expect to do on a mobile
device.
