Both my Burmese girls, Sophie (female neuter) and Simeona (female adult) won enough points earned by getting nominations or BIS during 2011 to get the award, "Best Swiss Cat 2011." Since there was no way I could handle both Simeona and Sophie (because Sophie wouldn't allow another cat to get too close to her, little stinker!) I asked my friend, Ruth, who, as steward, has presented Sophie often during BIS, if she would like to present one of my girls, and she was just thrilled, so attached is a pic of the two of us, Ruth (in the green t-shirt) with Sophie (red Burmese, 3 yrs.), me with Simeona (Chocolate Tortie Burmese, Sophie's sister and littermate). Each cat got a beautiful pewter trophy, a diploma, and a lovely certificate from the cat club (in Neuchâtel) that sponsored the "Best Swiss Cat" ceremony this year. Simeona got this award for 2010, too. Simeona got nominated for BIS, and so did Sophie. Sophie got it! In Simeona's category a British Blue got it. Carlee ------------------------------------ | ||
