A pal in long beach has the FIOS for tv and internet... He says he didn't speed test or such, but on day to day use they've had no buffering, or tiling of their devices. I'm told it's like 10x regular high speed Internet.
But that's moot because we can't get FIOS here.
From my little technological bit of heaven, the new iPad!
What speeds are they offering on FIOS? At what prices?
- ipad -TW/AT&T says our house can't get FIOS because one has to be within 3,000 feet of the receptacle. We at 3,250 will get better DSL speed, but no FIOS on our street at all.
I'd hope that would change soon, we are in a metro area, so it's not like we're in the farmlands out in Riverside county.. :-)On May 1, 2012, at 9:54 AM, petefromflorida wrote:Wow! I speed tested my daughter's FIOS at 10 Mbps. That make your connection 10 times faster.
