[iPad] Re: Greetings and some help needed

You can add files to the iPad/iPhone easy enough, but it is not a Windows Explorer way of doing it. It is done via iTunes. For some file types you can import to iTunes via the top menu, others you can use the File Sharing section in the iTunes/Apps screen to import files.

Not as quick and easy as Android, but on the other hand, iTunes gives you a one stop import, sync, backup tool. Everything in one box. If you changee the iPhone or iPad, restore from backup, easy. No need to manually keep track of everything and rebuild it yourself.

Is there an app or a way for my iPad to just show up as a drive if I plug it into the USB port without using iTunes?

I don't care if it is a tethered jailbreak or not. When I had an iPhone, it was a LOT more useful jailbroken.
