For a lot less money I can get the iPad 10W USB charger module and plug it in anywhere I like, rather than be restricted to one dedicated AC socket. Still, I suppose if someone always charged their device at the same desk It might be handy to have that wall outlet USB jack available rather than using up potentially limited AC outlets with the Apple USB module. Seems to me this wall outlet would be worth acquiring only by a certain few individuals with very specific needs.
