So Apple has done with the iPad what they do with the iMac, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro devices; simple call the new device by name. Looks like no more numbers for the IPad; which makes a lot o sense.
When things need to be changed, Apple can simply change them with having to pretend to create a whole new device; just as they do with the iMac, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro devices.
Just as with these devices, there is no reason for the average user to swap put devices each year. They should keep the device until it no long does the desire functions. So the new iPad is just that "The New IPad".
I have original iPad and am excited about the new iPad.
