Bob,
I think you are wrong. What can crash, the documents are on the PC to recover if the app dies. That said I have used the product on a number of platforms since it's early days - that would starting on a Palm PDA with Windows to iDevices with OSX not once in over 10 years have I had a problem.

hey Dave...Docs Are Not stable If you crash there is no back up ...i suggest using workspace at windows live its ausome for class work and adobe for books and docs notes ect.google also has similer lernig platforms..MicrosoftLearn Group Is Now Open For Biznis...

Most schools use Office formats and if you have Office then documents to go would be my first choice..
