Even though Anne might not want to do this, it would be so easy to
convert the database to Excel to export to any of several apps which
work very well with Excel files on iOS.

Or, simply export to CSV file if possible and then open that in a
spreadsheet on the iPad or get FilemakerPro for desktop and for iPad and
then it's really easy to share databases and edit them on either device.
