Thanks for the feedback. I often use the Happy Owl case as a combo purse/iPad case when I travel. The adjustable cross--body strap helps distribute the weight.
I've been lusting after the Sena since I got my iPad 2 last year, but I don't carry my iPad with me often enough to justify the price. Nice to know that the leather is superior. I imagine the workmanship is excellent as well.
Does the Sena have more room in the wallet section than the Happy Owl? I find it hard to squeak in sunglasses in my HO bag.

While they're both good, I think the H.O. case is more like a 'purse'. *I* had one on my first iPad and wrote to Happy Owl offering some feedback:
-Why not join the strap that closes the iPad compartment to the inner side of the 'wallet' part, so one could open just the wallet instead of the whole iPad too?
They never did it. But SENA did this from the get go.
I also like Sena's 'stand' and typing bits inside the lid.
The leather is a bit thicker on the Sena and smells like leather. Happy Owl smelled plastic-like.
I sill use both at given times, but Sena actually sent a rep to talk to me at work about their product. They gave me a couple of demo units to show off to my customers, seemed genuinely interested in my feedback. We carried them in store at the time. I'm a bit bummed that the Apple store is only carrying Smart covers and nothing else re: cases for the new iPad. So now, with either company, I must send my customers online to get them.

> Has anyone had the opportunity to compare Happy Owl to Sena cases? I bought a beautiful teal Happy Owl case when it went on sale last spring. It was made for the iPad 1, but works ok for the 2. It's a little loose and doesn't support the smart cover on and off but the price made up for it.
