Sorry, but I really have to chuckle at this. I don't know how long I've been on the internet, but I started when we had bulletin boards and, later, Usenet. Prodigy was a real advancement. Forte Agent came along and was a Usenet client and its' email capability was added later. Dial up modems were the way to connect and each time there was a speed upgrade available, we all ran out to get one--much like wanting the latest iteration of the iPad/iPod/iPhone. Routers were in the future. At the time, I ran a SYS/38 shop and 12GB of disk was in three large strings that took 220 3-phase. And, yes, I also punched a few 80-80 cards and wired the occasional board.

I do apreciate the fact that folks who've had tech toys to play with for less time have a lot to teach old timers. In my case, I've become too lazy to keep all that current so I just play with the toys in which I've found and in which I have an interest and leave the current processes and innovations to those who are younger and have more energy. I've found that I've reached gadget saturation on our new car let alone some of the new software that's now available. So, please keep olde farts like me current. I'll leave the work up to you and just enjoy playing with my toys.
