You want an app you can edit word in on your ipad. Try OnLive Desktop. http://desktop.onlive.com/ It is free and you can edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents. The interface has most of the office features in 2010. You must open an account online first. Than download it to your app via the app store. You upload your documents from your desktop into onlive.com and it appears on your Ipad.
Good Luck

I would like some input on the good the bad and the ugly between documents to go, apples pages/ numbers and quick office. Cost is a factor so I can't afford to pay for all three.
