NEVERMIND ! Since my iPad wasn’t doing anything with iTunes I unplugged it and the download status came up at the top of iTunes.

I’m somewhere in the middle process of downloading the iOS5 update. All I have is iTunes showing with a single sentence in the “Version” box of my iPad device at the left side of iTunes, saying “ iTunes id downloading a software update for this iPad.” There is no download status info showing at all. The HD blinks about every second so I assume something is downloading. Started about 30 minutes ago.
Is there supposed to be a download status window come up, or does my description above sound normal?
