For the record, the installation went flawlessly for me. First downloaded / installed the iTunes update. Then it took about 1 hour 20 minutes this Wednesday afternoon to download the iOS 5 update. Plugged my iPad 2 in and the installation and setup went without problems. I did opt to not use the cloud at this time. No problems have occurred with the iPAd so far.
