I researched this on Apple support forums and others are having the same issue if you are using a Wacom tablet which I am. Is this something Apple has broken on purpose to make me buy their touch pad? If so, no dice because I need the Wacom stylus for lots of things requiring precise movements (it is the greatest for dragging) and will not trade that for anything. I have written a message to Wacom customer service asking if they plan a driver upgrade. For all I know, maybe the tablet would not work at all in Lion which I am so thankful I did not get. Still ok with Snow Leopard except, of course, for iTunes.

My non-Wacom tablet is working fine with iTunes 10.4 in OS X 10.6.8. I just dragged a local playlist onto my iPhone and it started syncing it immediately. Now I need to get it off of there..

iTunes auto-complete is still working here, too. It was annoying the heck out of me just last night while trying to type a new album name that has some capital letters, yet it insisted on completing it as a different album, wiping out what I had typed. I ended up typing it into the Comments box, then copy-pasting.

Before you get too deep in Apple conspiracy theories, try unplugging the Wacom and see if that fixes the auto-complete issue as well. If so, Wacom has an update to push.
