The last iTunes upgrade was 10.4 and I do so wish I had not let it happen. But who was to know it was going to break a whole bunch of things, probably more than I already know. Two problems which I have experienced firsthand are:
1. When editing information in iTunes, autocomplete no longer works. This was always a big help when I was ripping audiobooks from cds. Often the online database has incorrect or no information and you have to fill it in yourself. This is aided by having autocomplete.
2. I can no longer drag playlists or anything else onto my iPhone within iTunes. I researched this on Apple support forums and others are having the same issue if you are using a Wacom tablet which I am. Is this something Apple has broken on purpose to make me buy their touch pad? If so, no dice because I need the Wacom stylus for lots of things requiring precise movements (it is the greatest for dragging) and will not trade that for anything. I have written a message to Wacom customer service asking if they plan a driver upgrade. For all I know, maybe the tablet would not work at all in Lion which I am so thankful I did not get. Still ok with Snow Leopard except, of course, for iTunes.
