The same thing happened on my ipad with my gmail acct. It would say passwor/userid incorrect. I knew it wasnt. Works fine on my laptop. Today the gmail seems okay.
At first i thought it might be some sort of phishing attempt.

thats said,. its could be a problem with your ISP. or are you using exchange? it could be anything. my MobileMe email that apple provides hasn't had an issue that i can recall. so its possible if you switched to something apple, the problem would go away. without specifics its hard to say. how about, you first drop the attitude, then give us some details. how many days? what ISP?> shat email settings? how many months or weeks or days has the problem gone on? have you done a restart? a reinstall?> what trouble shootings steps have you done?

i'll wait for your answers and more information.
