So I'm sitting here in Irene's wake in RI and I'm watching a video on my iPad2. I've got it in my neato Joby case...an ugly thing to be sure but incredibly useful.
Now here's the thing. I've got my iPad sitting on a small table about 3 feet from my chair while I've got my laptop on my lap.
If I want to pause the video... I have to get up and touch the screen to pause. Now if I wanted to be really lazy... :)... I'm thinking it would be great if I could use my iPhone or even a new version Apple Remote to pause the video.
Now if I had my iPad hooked up to my HD TV via an HDMI cable... here too... I would love to have the iPad sitting next to the TV and connected via HDMI yet be able to pause etc, the video from the couch.
Any ideas?
1. Using 'Video'native app on iPad2. This video was sync'd via iTunes.
2. Playing this video that I ripped from one of my own DVD's (actually it's a lecture on Ancient Rome).
3. I want to be able to pause the video from a distance.
Thanks,
Vince Petronio
