Try removing apps that are running on the iPad. Turn off the iPad. Turn back on, see how that goes

Subject: [iPad] Playing Video
I have a strange problem. A while ago I recorded a short video on my camera of my cat, downloaded it to my iPad, and it played fine. Now it won't play, instead I get the 'whirly circle' in the middle of the screen. I found the video on my camera where it plays fine, downloaded it to iPad again, but same thing happens, little 'twirly circle' in the middle of the screen.
Any ideas?
