Mmm. I don't see anything there for me. It's still a point-at-the-icon-and-click thing. Got that now.
And on the downside, if I bought one, I'd have to put out for new cables and a new DAC for my music (or maybe a splitter box), since they've removed the digital out. So a $150 device would probably cost me about $250. I may bite the bullet in a year or three, just to stay current, but there's zero incentive to upgrade now. $250 can be much more useful elsewhere.
It feels to me like 90% marketing hype and 10% upgrade. YMMV though, as always. As always, it's subjective.

Samsung on Wednesday took the wraps off the monster Galaxy View tablet, an "unprecedented mobile entertainment experience" with an 18.4-inch screen.It's so big that it comes with a handle built into its screen cover, so you can carry the tablet like a briefcase — after all, it probably won't fit into your actual briefcase. The idea of the device, however, unlike the iPad Pro, isn't to give you more screen real estate for productivity apps. The Galaxy View is all about media.
