Re: [iPad] iPad Pro Review: Why I Returned the New iPad

Really?

Apple do touch screens. Everyone does touch screens.

I would and actually do agree with you, the issue I have is those that whine that iOS is a consumption based OS, which it is, and that has been echoed by many here in the past, now Tim Cook says why have a PC when you have an iPad Pro, and many here see it as uber productive, it can do anything. Well it can't. technically it could, so can a 3 door shopping trolley take me skiing, it could but who would??

Make a choice, Apple fans, of which I am one.

Is it a laptop replacement as Tim Cook heavily implies, or is it a great consumption device, that for some, meets all their needs, for most, I need a real PC [insert PC or Mac here]

Off course they can make OSX touchable or make iOS less restricted. No issues either way, whats the best way? I see a full computer such as a PC or Mac, or a tablet for consumption and lite tasks

There is nothing in MacOS X that deals with touch/screen sensing.
Adding that would bloat the operating system, for a tiny fraction of users that would ask for it, many of whom would quickly discover that they don't like reaching up and out to tap on their computer screen.

To say nothing of adding screen sensing capabilities to what are already high-end computer screens, increasing their thickness and weight, to say nothing of cost, all out of proportion to any demand.
