Its just marketing, yep. But I see it as misleading. Purporting it to be a laptop replacement. Fine of you base the web and read emails, drop pictures. Yes, for some it can be, but for them, it already is based on there use cases, the Pro hasn't changed that. A guy on my local geek forum asked about this, he assumed it was a laptop replacement as its bigger and Pro. Just a bigger Air 2 with a pencil, or a bigger Air 1 with a pencil and no split view

I think it's safe to ignore much of what Tim Cook says 😎
So, why not remove all restrictions from iOS? Attach any HDD, copy files to and from, iTunes wont matter as it doesn't backup non iTines purchased files anyway. That would make any iPad like an Android, do what you wish. Like a PC or like OSX, do what you wish.Ifs not thats ok by me, but please no more Tim Cook "why get a PC when you can get an iPad Pro"

Agreed. Yea gorilla arm would be a problem. I think it's the wrong way to go.. But, that said, it's possible.~KLM\\ "Antisocial behavior is a trait of intelligence in a world full of conformists" ~Nikola Tesla //There is nothing in MacOS X that deals with touch/screen sensing.
Adding that would bloat the operating system, for a tiny fraction of users that would ask for it, many of whom would quickly discover that they don't like reaching up and out to tap
