It really depends on how you use it and how often you want to use it.
I have an iPad Air 2 in the Apple Smart case. Once in a while I like to use a keyboard. I use the Mac wireless keyboard in an incase origami case. The keyboard is something I use when I have my macbook Pro docked.
To use this you need to have a Mac keyboard. I like this because this is an actual keyboard and not something with poor keys. You can also place your iPad in horizontal or vertical positions. It also allows you to rest your iPad to use it as a reader. It is very stable.
What you may not like about it is that it does not have dedicated iPad keys like some of the cases do. Again it really depends on your intentions.
