Re: [iPad] Everything we know so far about the Apple Car September 30

I meant battery to be replaced and not charged.
When I bought first Nokia, I needed to gets its battery replaced after 2.5 years of usage.
In its life of 7 years with me, I needed two replacements.

In case of iPhone, the entire phone gets replaced every three years.
( I am not one who replaces phone every year)

"Apple Inside" is Carplay and self drive. You don't replace them

Phone battery wise, back in 2007, every phone was feature phone, battery lasted a week. Since the modern smartphone, batteries still last longer than the phone, although the vast majority of us change phones well before that. I mean battery useable lifetime, not the charge use time

Like Intel inside?
I doubt it.
Before iPhone, every phone had a replaceable battery.
Model were expected to last longer than battery life.
Apple changed it.

It seems to me that lately, Apple's been doing things not so much to make money as to be able eventually to claim a place at the table.  Cars could be that.  As Tony says, Apple are not going to become a car manufacturing company.  They have zero experience with manufacturing.

Of course, with Cook at the controls, who knows?

That's what you think. That's not what apple thinks. Wise it wouldn't take the challenge. Then again maybe Apple in this case doesn't want huge profit margins. Maybe it simply wants to change the world. Maybe this change is about something we don't understand.

Agree.  And I'm not sure there's much profit for Apple in cars at all, anywhere.
