Re: [iPad] App for messaging

And this is an iPad or iPhone? If it's an iPhone then in message settings make sure send as sms option is checked. Turned on. If it's an iPad then you need a different app with a phone number like textfree or google voice

I'm using just a text (character) message.  No photos, videos, etc.  On the iphone it looks like it was sent.  It doesn't say "delivered" but the green line across the top goes all the way and gives a little beep.  However, nothing ever shows up on the Windows phone.  It is a Nokia Lumia 635 and is set up for wi-fi calling as well as data.  My husband doesn't hear well on the phone so I thought if I could text him, it would help.  A text from the Windows phone to my iphone is almost immediate.  No problem.
