Ive used textfree.app before. That's good. But the interface for choosing a phone number us better herb Google voice imo. I thought whatsapp.app was more of an IM platform?

I use the free WhatsApp to text with non-Apple friends at no charge whatsoever. Other than that, sometimes we text in FB message.
