Xerox runs Verizon's call centers just as IBM runs Sprint call centers. My point being that xerox is still going strong just in different ways these days.

Apple have been a very popular brand for only twenty years, since 1997.
In fashion, no brand rules forever.  People become bored.

Gilette had a pretty good run.
And Bayer Aspirin.
Xerox.
Ford.
Chevrolet.
Daimler-Benz.
