Re: [iPad] Apple Pay

Ha ha, Kris!
I just used it last week at Whole Foods. Asked for guidance and patience and they walked me through. I opened the wallet and then when the transaction was completed by the cashier, placed my phone near the card reader and bing! Done! Simple! Also used it at the Apple store first. That was very helpful as you can imagine.

Then went to Trader Joes...not so easy! The card read and was approved, but, then they wanted me to go through the junk of debit or credit, is the amount ok and put in my code???!! What was the point? I complained to them and wrote corporate pointing out that WF could do it correctly, why couldn't they? It's supposed to be EASY!
So you are supposed to be able to press twice on the home button when phone is locked to bring up the wallet I read. I haven't perfected that! LOL! I only get Siri.

Go to a store when it's slow and if you go there often, find a clerk you know! They'll walk you through it.

Have fun! I love it!

Subject: [iPad] Apple Pay

So let's say I see an apple pay logo. My iDevice is locked. The cashier is ringing me up. Step by step, what do I do?
1. Get my iPhone out
2. Hold it next to the card swipe machine?
3. Press the home button? Or go to wallet? Or ask the cashier? Do I wait till the transaction is done? Or like a card can I just go and be done?

Please explain in detail. Thank you. I get very anxious. I would like to be prepared.
