Luck and being in the right place at the right time and having the imagination and creativity and foresight that others similarly situated lacked. That bit of lightening is very unlikely to strike twice in the same company. If Apple were run by another strong-willed creative genius, one might still hope, probably against hope, but that is not the case. And you can't just advertise for the ideal kind of creative geniuses and expect to snag one. And even if you did, how could a board of directors in suits recognize her? And even if they did, what are the odds she and they would get along? Life's not like that.
