Depends on lots of variables. For me, fingerprint is almost always a pain.
Yup, faster. Touch the the fingerprint reader and your in. Password, depending on how many letters or numbers are in the password, that's a slide over and the number of taps for the length of the password.

No idea how others feel, but for me fingerprinting will be useful only when any part of any finger can be used from any angle.
