Indeed it seems that a thumbprint to unlock is faster than no password in my tests. Wow. That's fast. Color me very pleased.

Well if it's faster than no password then maybe I should try it. I generally don't keep a password activated on my device. Touch the the fingerprint reader and your in. Password, depending on how many letters or numbers are in the password, that's a slide over and the number of taps for the length of the password.

Fastest way to get into my phone. I've used the fingerprint reader on my phone so often I barely have to touch it with my thumb for it to work.

No idea how others feel, but for me fingerprinting will be useful only when any part of any finger can be used from any angle.
