I still find that I like to have my screen brightness set at around 40 to 45% that optimizes my brightness with battery life

Yes I did! The screen is using the most! I have shut off the app refresh, but, I don't know why it would drop so much not being used.

I get when I'm using it, the battery will drop. I just never had this with my 4S.

It seems a little too much.
I guess I can keep it on low battery when I'm not using it.

Did you check the battery option in Settings to see which apps are using the most charge?
