It has taken me several years to get to the point where I'm almost 100% spam free.  One quick hint, many telemarketers and politicians get you private and unlisted phone number from voter registration lists.  Call your local voter registration office and get your number removed or replace it with a number that won't work.

it's too bad that AT&T hasn't caught on to nomorobo yet. we don't get spam calls on our verizon cell phones but we do get a ton on the AT&T land line.
