Could be. Or two semi bad batteries in a row. It's what it is. Software is just one possibility. I think it's likely but that's just based on internet storms lol

They are every conservation tips. Not a fix to address the part of the code that causes the battery to drain unnaturally fast. 75 minutes of texting is a short battery life yet with all these tips and more that's what happens to me and to many others I meet (talk to) at my job. It's not isolated. One should get 3 hours with Bluetooth on and the screen bright when all you do is send a few texts. By a few I mean three dozen.So by increasing ky battery life five percent doesn't really help. Certainly it doesn't really hurt. But it in no way addresses the issue. It doesn't even smooth it over. It's inconvenient. I can barely read my screen it's so dim. Can't use many features of iOS 8 like background refresh or handoff or parallax.
