Or better yet. Take the shotgun approach. Backup current data. Erase all content. Replace with backup of said data. See if that fixes the problem.

I have a second generation IPad. Lately I am unable to delete apps. I hold down an app and get the shaking x on all apps, but when I try and delete an app, it locks up and I have to do a complete reboot which does not help. Any suggestions?
