LTE is way way faster than 4G even is. 3G is much slower still.
The International Telecommunications Union standard states:4G refers to IMT-Advanced (International Mobile Telecommunications Advanced), as defined by ITU-R.
An IMT-Advanced cellular system must fulfill the following requirement:
Have peak data rates of up to approximately 100 Mbit/s for high mobility such as mobile access and up to approximately 1 Gbit/s for low mobility such as nomadic/local wireless access.What is *marketed* as 4G (not LTE) (at least in the USA) doesn't come anywhere near this.I'm confuzzled.
