I just mean that with the LTE on my 50 meg download occurs faster than with it off. So. For the average bloke without a computer science degree some layman some normal dude LTE is faster. I realize they are both a form of true or not true 4g, regardless of that when the LTE switch is on my 50 meg download occurs in a fraction of the time than with it off. I'm talking a lot end user. Gramma. Mom. Dad. Pops. Brother. Just average folk. When they have that switch on the download happens in less time than with it off. In the real world that's faster.

LTE is faster than 3G.
Either my phone throttles the signal with the flip off or whatever LTE is actually is faster than 4g. They are terms. Using them as such LTE is way faster than 4g. When I went from EDGE to 3G that was faster. To 4g was faster still and LTE the fastest.No.LTE is **NOT** faster than 4G.If you mean LTE, on your iPhone, as rolled out throughout the USA, that is what the carriers are *calling* "4G", so LTE cannot be faster than itself.And if you mean *true* 4G, our present LTE is a lot slower than that (IMT-Advanced).And of course how fast your download are depends not only on how fast the network backbone in your area is, but far more on how good your connection to it is.You can have faster 3G downloads than LTE if your LTE connection is weak.
